Compulsory testing for COVID19 prior to elective surgery

Latest bulletin on private elective surgery lists during the COVID19 crisis: All private hospitals now require anyone with elective surgery to be tested for the virus 3 days prior to their scheduled surgery. This means that the patient must also self isolate for those three days in order to ensure that they don’t come in contact with the virus between testing and presenting to hospital. We at MIGYNAE applaud this move. Protecting our patients and doctors and all our hard working health care workers who’s hard work and dedication is enabling elective surgery lists to remain open.
