PCOS commonly goes undiagnosed

It is a sad fact of life that Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is so often miss diagnosed. You are repeatedly encouraged to consider your concerns as just a normal part of fluctuating menstrual cycles. This article explains clearly what many suffers have experienced over their journey to diagnosis. I would recommend reading this and if you are experiencing PCOS, then don’t let anyone tell you it is normal. Insist on seeking a professional opinion.

This is not to say that your General practitioner is not well meaning, or not knowledgeable, it is just that so often “female” pain and discomfort is often down played. Do your research, be informed, insist on further investigation and don’t let this condition control your life!
